History: 2005 Season

Team Heineken does O.C. 2005
We took an excellent team to the 2005 Ocean City Classic. We went 2-1 and had a hard fought 7-8 loss to eventual champion Smartlink (aka Single Source), who breezed through the rest of the tournament. As usual our off-field performance was in peak condition. Thanks to Heineken and Portside Tavern.

2005 Spring ALL Season
2005 marked the first year for Team Heineken. The team was formed by combining existing members of the former Swamp Dawg team with a talented group of newcomers. We had an excellent first season. We went 11-0 against American Lacrosse League (ALL) opponents and won the East division. In our first playoff game we defeated rival Crease Monkeys 9-7 and then defeated Richmond 16-8 to set up a rematch with Dewalt in the Southern Championship. The game was an intense back and forth battle, with Dewalt ending up one goal (9-8).

All in all a great season for a team in its first year together. Not to mention we had a great time together and thorougly enjoyed our share of Heinekens and Amstels.
